On December 2, Rockland BOCES unveiled the 2021-22 edition of the Rockland BOCES Services Guide. This annual publication details the Administrative, Instructional and School Support Services available to the eight component school districts in Rockland County, as well as services that may be purchased through other BOCES.
This year, Rockland BOCES celebrates 60 years of serving our component school districts and our community-at-large. The innovative, researched-based programming and specialized professional skills outlined in the Services Guide represent our longstanding commitment to provide high-quality, cost-effective shared services.
The COVID-19 pandemic has focused the minds of everyone across our community on a set of unprecedented challenges that could not have been foreseen. We are immensely proud of the way our colleagues in public education have pulled together to address those challenges. Each of us at Rockland BOCES care deeply about the learners we serve. Working together, we will continue to meet this moment with strength, resilience and compassion.
As schools continue to face economic challenges, the need for BOCES services and the efficiency that they provide is more evident than ever. With an emphasis on effectiveness, our agency provides quality programs that support our component districts through the challenges of implementing Federal, State and local initiatives, while meeting the more demanding graduation and school accountability requirements.
