Virtual Enterprise
As a class, students run a virtual business by creating a product or service that they market and sell to other Virtual Enterprise teams at other schools worldwide.
Virtual Enterprise students select to work in a particular department, including product development, production
and distribution, marketing, sales, human resources, accounting/finance and web design. The class selects a CEO
and department managers who oversee the project. Working in teams to make decisions about how to complete
their departmental tasks in support of company goals and objectives, students learn from both their successes
and mistakes.
Students in this program have an opportunity to enroll in Rockland Community College’s High School Enrichment Program, which allows them to earn college credits.
